How are you choosing your outfit?

Hey friend!

Let’s be honest – it can be hard to figure out what to wear on a normal day, let alone for a photo session. On top of that is the added stress of figuring out how the kids should dress. There are so many options to decide from! But let’s remove the stress and figure out what works best for you.

1. What’s the occasion?

Will you be using these photos for anything in particular? If there are holidays coming up, perhaps consider something festive for your holiday cards.

2. Do you have clothes that all go together?

You don’t have to dress matchy-matchy, but you do need your outfits to go well together. Make sure that the colors your family wears are complementary to each other!

3. Comfort is key

Choose an outfit that you love, but one that is comfortable as well. Comfortable people make for comfortable photos! You’ll want to look like you’re happy to be there, and comfort is key for that.

The most important thing to remember is…

Drum roll…

Be yourself!

When you’re dressing for your family session, remember to be yourself. You’ll want to look back at these photos years from now and remember these happy moments with your loved ones.

Let’s think about posing next – coming to an inbox near you.
